Global Passages Private limited made its mark in Civil Aviation history of Uttranchal, being the first Company to have done a comprehensive survey of all Airports and airstrips in the state it had been our endeavor to connect Uttranchal by Air from Delhi and Other destinations which we finally managed to do in December 2004 when Air Deccan flew its maiden flight into Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun. GPPL were made the official handling agents for Air Deccan in Uttranchal and we now handle all ground operations at Dehradun Airport. For Air Deccan the Dehradun flight has been a success story and it now wants to expand into other destinations in Uttranchal, starting with Pant Nagar Airport which would serve as an entry point to Nainital, Jim Corbett National park Almora, Ranikhet, Binsar Kausani Pindari Glacier and other exotic destination in the Kumaon hills of Uttranchal.

For GPPL it's been a long dream come true, as after the formation of New State of Uttranchal we had been busy forging alliances and getting Airlines players into Uttranchal. After getting Uttranchal connected to the domestic Airlines Industry, our Vision is now to get Uttranchal Airports connected to International destinations.

In this endeavor and dream we had the full hearted support and cooperation of the Government of Uttranchal, Air Deccan, and the Airport Authority of India.

Recently Capt. Gopinath himself dedicated 1 full day in Uttranchal. The Chief Minister applauded his efforts and gave a pat on our back too, for our efforts.

In a speech to visiting Industrialists of Pantnagar, Capt. assured them that Global Passages Private Limited and Air Deccan would start operations soon from Pantnagar Airport.
