Day 02 CHRISTCHURCH ADVENTURE

Join early morning
Hot Air Balloon Flight at Christchurch. Fly from the centre of the city, in view of the sun rising out of the ocean, toward snow-capped mountains. Early morning is best as it is the calmest time of day. Regardless of the time, what a way to start the day! Highlights :

Day 03 THE TRANZALPINE SAFARI

Enjoy the world famous The TranzAlpine Safari, a journey which is famous for its engineering feats and spectacular mountain scenery. The TranzAlpine Train (rated one of the top six train journeys in the World) runs from the Pacific Ocean to the Tasman Sea, crossing the fertile Canterbury plains and the stunning Waimakariri River. Arrive at Greymouth in the afternoon and transfer to Franz Josef Glacier by coach.
Find yourself in a magnificent land having Ancient Rivers of ice. Rest of the day at leisure exploring Glacier land, we suggest a helicopter landing or a guided walk onto the glacier (own expense). A scenic flight is a great way to view the glaciers.

Historical Taieri Gorge Train : A Day Tour experiencing the unique southern lifestyle, Beautiful Kawarau Gorge, travel into countryside inaccessible by road, Cromwell Fruit & Wine Region, Clyde Dam, High Country Farming District, Two hour spectacular and Historical Taieri Gorge train journey between Dunedin and Pukerangi "the hill of the heavens".

Discover Aoraki Mt. Cook : Full Day tour highlights include Cromwell Orchards, Lindis Pass and Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, Australasia's highest mountain at 3754 metres. At Mount Cook there is time to experience an optional scenic helicopter or ski plane flight (own expense / weather permitting).
