Day 01 Friday :
Arrival to Helsinki Vantaa airport. You will be met by your local, authorised guide. Transfer by private coach to the city centre combined with a city tour taking in the most important and exciting sights of the city.

Check-in at the hotel. Accommodation in a centrally located first class hotel.

Meet your guide in the lobby for a short walk or bus ride to have aperitifs in the coolest bar in the city! In the Arctic Ice Bar the temperature is a constant – 5 C and everything inside is made out of crystal clear ice. Upon entry the guests are given a warm cape and gloves to wear. Ice cold drinks will be served in the bar.

After the chilling experience a short walk to an Indian restaurant for dinner.

After dinner visit Grand Casino Helsinki. Grand Casino Helsinki in the centre of Helsinki's entertainment and nightlife area, offers versatile and high quality entertainment for adults. In addition to the 300 slot machines and some over 20 table games, located on two floors, there is also a separate poker room. Besides playing, the Casino is an excellent place to spend time and enjoy a high quality programme. The experience is also complemented with professional and versatile restaurant services.

Day 02 Saturday :
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Meet your local guide in the lobby. Transfer to the Market Square, Helsinki’s most international and famous market. The booths sell traditional market foods and treats, like fresh berries and local pastries, as well as handicrafts and souvenirs.

After a short shopping break at the market, you will take a waterbus to the sea fortress Suomenlinna; a unique architectural monument, a popular recreational area and museum, and at the same time a living comunity. Founded in 1748 it was built as a bastion on six islands of Helsinki by Augustin Ehrensvärd. In 1991 Unesco included Suomenlinna in the List of World Heritage sites. A guided walk on the island taking in the main sights of the fortification.

After lunch continue to Arabia Tableware Factory, Museum and Gallery. The permanent exhibition in Arabia Museum displays utility and art ceramics made by Arabia factory over a period of 130 years. The gallery is devoted to special exhibitions, historical and contemporary ceramics and glass. Time for shopping at the factory’s retail shop.

Visit to Linnanmäki Amusement Park, the biggest single tourist attraction in Finland delighting over a million visitors each summer in Helsinki. Unique atmosphere created by the big dipper, exciting new rides and a great variety of programmes. Thrills for families and fun-lovers in general. The tour includes a ride at the Panorama tower from where you can admire the spectacular view over Helsinki.

In the evening, dinner at an Indian restaurant. Return bus transfer from/to the hotel.

Day 03 Sunday :
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check-out.

Meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Guided tour by private coach to the charming little town of Porvoo, with its idyllic wooden houses, Town Hall Square, tempting little shops and workshops. You’ll be surprised at the unique gifts, souvenirs, antiques, handicrafts and design products offered by the boutiques of Old Porvoo.

Lunch at the restaurant Wanha Laamanni in the heart of the old town. Wanha Laamanni provides a truly historical setting to enjoy Finnish cuisine in a Gustavian atmoshphere.

Crossing the Arctic Circle, a visit to the Santa Claus Village and a thrilling snowmobile safari make this two-day tour a genuine and memorable experience in Finnish Lapland.

The tour starts in the evening by night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. First you will have some free time on your own in the town to for example enjoy breakfast. The tour begins with a snowmobile safari; equipped with warm thermal clothing you are taken on a snowmobile safari to a nearby reindeer cottage to learn about the Lapp culture. The exotic Arctic Circle ceremony, i.e. “crossing the line”, takes place in a traditional Lappish “kota” tent. You also have the possibility to take a reindeer ride.

In the afternoon a three-course lunch consisting of Lappish specialities awaits you in a cosy restaurant. After lunch the programme continues with a visit to the Santa Claus Village to meet the man in person.

On the second tour day – after a good night’s sleep in a centrally located hotel – you are taken to a brisk snowmobile ride to enjoy the fun of snowmobiling along frozen rivers and through the snow-covered forest landscape. There is a break for enjoying hot beverages on the way. The overnight train back to Helsinki departs in the evening.
