Museum of Western Australia
Museum of Western Australia leaves a permanent mark in the hearts of
tourists as it is not just another museum. It surpasses the imagination with
its excellent gallery of Aboriginal culture, a marine gallery with the
skeleton of a 25m (82ft) blue whale, vintage cars, a gallery of dinosaurs
and a good collection of meteorites.
Underwater World
It is an exciting as well as a rewarding experience to explore the 98m
underwater tunnel aquarium. There are various marine species big and small,
and their count goes up to 2500 which includes sharks and stingrays. Feeding
sharks is a real exciting experience.
Kings Park and Gardens
Kings Park and Gardens is spread over an area of 400 hectares. It always
crowded by the locals and tourists alike. It is located on Mt. Aliza and
provides the breathtaking views of the city. Sight of Swan river is really
delightful.
The Old Mill
Visiting the old mill is just like stepping back into the ancient time when
Perth was emerging as a colony.

Parliament House
In the capital city of Australia, the first thing tourists want to see is
the new Parliament House. The fascinating building is built of marble lined
monstrosity squatting at the apex of the Parliamentary Triangle. Build on a
hill, the roof of the house is lined with grass to make it blend in. In true
Australian tradition, the grass gives the entire complex a classic touch.
National Gallery of Australia
National Gallery of Australia houses an exquisite collection of artwork
.There are paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, photographs, furniture,
ceramics, fashion, textiles and also silverware.
Questacon
Questacon is very near to National Gallery of Australia. There are over 200
devices in the center's five galleries, including the earthquake experience,
the thongaphone, and the 'can you bowl faster than Alan Donald' display.
Though it is designed for the kids, adults too have fun on it.
Australian War Memorial
A massive war memorial, it displays an amazing collection of pictures,
dioramas, relics and exhibitions, including a fine collection of old
aircraft. The miniature battle scene of the tiny soldiers is the most
absorbing sight.
The memorial has striking interiors with superb stained-glass windows.
Leading to the hall is a reflecting pool. The surrounding walls of the pool
are inscribed with the names of Australia's war heroes giving the entire
complex a different feel.
